One of my assignments for my web design class was to create an app that integrated six symbol sets into its design. I decided to create a game with a storyline and linear progression centered around a pirate theme aimed at younger children. "A Pirate's Life", though it features the required six symbol sets, utilizes each for a different type of game (character creation, pipe puzzle, etc.) I integrated moving graphics into the design to make the game more dynamic and interactive, which was a challenge since I was responsible for the coding of the app as well as the design. This project was completed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in Dreamweaver.
